I recently had my headshots taken for a medical residency at this studio, and I couldn't be happier with the results. After a disappointing experience with a different portrait studio, the quality of the images I received here were outstanding in comparison. I was given a wide selection of high-quality photos, making it surprisingly difficult to choose my favorites. I wanted an ERAS headshot for residency. I went to another studio before and had the worst experience there. I thought every photographer in newyork would be that snooty!! But, I'm glad I gave it another chance. RP scheduled my visit on the same day and the session was very easy, he made me feel relaxed, took every picture with great care, gave me some ideas as to how I pose and overall, it was wonderful, the final pictures came out as I wanted. I'm thankful. I'd recommend this place to anyone!!

Go from small, medium to full smile so you get a variety of options. Editing turnaround is super quick (1-2 days) and staff is very responsive to your editing requests (will custom edit according to your needs).

If you are wondering why this differs from the MANY positive reviews, it's because after you pay and get your photos, they offer you two more finished photos if you leave a review. You have to leave the review first before you get the extra photos, so... you can imagine how that inflates their rating.As to my two-star review, it's for two primary reasons:- First, the night before my scheduled appointment, they called and emailed me asking to change it to later in the day or another day entirely. Considering all the work that goes into getting photos done (outfit, hair, time off work, etc.) that was really inconvenient. I told them I couldn't and they said they would "try to make it work." I never heard back from them so I just showed up. The guy was there, so they did make it work, but the last-minute change request was annoying and unprofessional.- Second, and more importantly, many (maybe most?) of my pictures were unusable because of flaws that the photographer should have noticed. In some my tie was not straight, in others my hands looked awkward, in a few my jacket was all bunched up. These are little things, for sure, but things that could have and certainly should have been fixed by the photographer. That's the whole point of doing this professionally, right? Yes, I booked the cheapest and quickest package, but still, it cost almost $100 for just 10 minutes of their time.I emailed them to let them know my frustration and to try to solve it without posting it publicly. They promised to discuss it with the team and get back to me but they stopped responding so here I am.Bottom line: Good price and friendly photographer. But, I walked away unsatisfied and ultimately wouldn't recommend this company to someone else. And, again, most of the reviews on here are basically the result of a bribe for extra photos, so, keep that in mind.

I highly recommended!The session moves very fast, so my only recommendation is to ask for pauses to look in the mirror if you plan on doing different things with your hair or outfit. But the photographer was quite patient with me, letting me rest and feel good before the shoot (he gave me some candy as well to get some energy). The photographs were also excellent. This was my first time taking professional headshots. I can not say enough about the professionalism of everyone here! The team was not only comforting but friendly. They took multiple shots in various different poses to give me a large selection to choose from. Each picture came out amazing, the only difficult part was choosing which headshots I wanted. I contacted LinkedIn headshots on a Friday morning to get ‘urgent’ pictures for an upcoming professional event/ announcement. I received a message back within 30 mins with appointment times offered for same day. I reached the studio within a couple hours as met RP who explained the process. He was very patient and I really liked his process of taking pictures with different faces. He allowed me to switch jackets quickly to build up my options. Made the balance payment on the day and received amazing pictures within 48 hours. This place is my new go-to place for headshots. From the beginning till the end I would recommend to 100%To make the appointment was easy and quick, I booked within a couple of days. On the actual day I couldn't have felt more comfortable, it's like a private studio and Agata (the photographer) was so sweet, she made sure to help me with poses, turned on music so I would losen up a little more, and she really took her time!On the camera I could already see it's going to be great.After a couple days I got all my photos to select from Zarah via email and it was so hard to pick because I loved every single one of them. I had done some scouting to find an outlet that specializes in LinkedIn headshots. And LinkedIn Headshots NYC didn't disappoint!For a small fee, the photographer was able to meet at a location of my choosing in Manhattan and was very professional in the delivery. He directed me on how and where to stand, pose ideas, and also encouraged me to select more locations in immediate area for photos. The service was quick, but not rushed.The photos came out very well, and after selecting the ones I liked most, the final versions were delivered within a handful of business hours.Overall, I would use the service again and no problem recommending them for anyone looking for a quality LinkedIn headshot.

I have already recommended LinkedIn Headshot in NYC to my friends from B-school. It is very conveniently located, easy to make an appointment, and the equipment and lighting are very professional. The photographer was very friendly and took her time (she took 48 photos with various different poses, facial expressions, and lighting). The turnaround time was very quick. On top of that, the price is phenomenal. The shots at LinkedIn Headshot in NYC took around 25 minutes or so to make things perfect, with no additional or hidden charges. I highly recommend this place.

Amazing 5 star service. I requested the shooting the same day, with only 6 hours notice, and it was accomodated smoothly and with great communication. RP and my photographer for the session (whose name is escaping me now, but she was wonderful!) were ready and waiting when I arrived, told me a bit about the session, and offered suggestions on what to wear. She (photographer) gave great instructions throughout and made me feel comfortable in different poses. I was even offered a bottle of water - a nice touch on a hot day :)Turnaround time was perfect. I added rush processing, needing the photos in less than two days. Shoot was in the afternoon, got the proofs that night, then my selected finals the next morning. Considering the wild prices of many other places, this was an amazing option for the simple headshots I needed.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with RP during the whole headshot session. We came in at the same time and watched each other's sesh and it was so much fun! I told him I would like two sets of photos (one with my white coat on, and the other with a suit blazer), and he was able to work with me without any issues. Great and professional experience. Easy scheduling. I was given 10min as a gift and there was no hassle and I feel like I got a lot more. I don't like taking photos and had a rough morning but once I got there I felt welcomed, not rushed, and relaxed. RP has great energy and was patient with someone like me who took photo direction poorly. He was also able to double accommodate my request for theatrical headshots for acting. I had an outstanding experience with LinkedIn Headshots NYC. My photographer RP made the time from the moment I stepped into his studio to when I stepped out a delightful experience. He was very professional but also very open, which brought out the best emotion from me — and it shows in the pictures.Being able to create a comfortable space to bring out the best in his subjects is only half of the equation necessary to produce great pictures you'll love; the other half is his great camera work and direction for posture, pose, and smile. We moving through multiple configurations bringing it chairs, tables, leg stands to get a variety of different poses to choose from later. Throughout all this we were engaged in entertaining conversation which made the actual photographing feel like background to the foreground that was our exchange. He was not distracted throughout all this however.There was swift turnaround from taking the pictures to getting a wide selection of drafts for me to select from. As someone with darker skin, I was very happy with how the lighting was able to bring out my features. There were also more than 15 pictures from the batch that I would have graciously chosen — rather abundance than scarcity.The final collection after some touch ups looks very good! Competitive pricing AND quality of results and customer experience? It's a no brainer

I don't take many pictures, so I was a bit nervous, but from the time I walked in, his warm personality made me feel at ease which also brought that out in me in the pictures. Great experience with Linkedin Headshots NYC! RP makes you feel very comfortable and helps you get a wide array of shots. I personally don't like taking photos of myself because I just don't know what to do, but RP came through and was directing me on how to stand, smile, etc. He kept joking around with me so that I would loosen up and it worked!The photo quality and turnaround time was fantastic! This is probably one of the best you’ll get. They were extremely responsive, had a great experience; was told how to pose, the photographer figured out the best lighting for my apartment, told me how to place hands, etc. the picture turnaround was extremely fast. In general, I am uncomfortable when it comes to "posed" photos so I was already wary about the results walking into the session. RP is a top notch photographer that knows how to captures the fine moments you need or want in a photo. There is nothing more satisfying than to know you are going to walk away with not just a great experience but knowing with confidence that your pictures are going come out great. I use to hate taking photos because I knew that other photographers did not care how it came out and all the pressure was on you to make that smile or pose look good. All theses fears I had for my photo shoot with RP went out the window. RP knows how to work you through various pose, he values you and talks to you, and he does is best professionally to make the experience fun. I’ve never done this style of photography before but I have to be honest, RP made it so natural, that he has set the bar so high that I personally do not want to go to anyone else.
